Adult day health and senior care providers run an operation that looks nothing like a clinic. A single participant is attached to a caregiver, an agency, a case manager, a transport route, a service plan, and a medication schedule — and each of those is maintained by a different person, often in a different system, frequently in a spreadsheet.

What we hear in this space is rarely "we need healthcare software". It is that the participant record lives in one place, the transport schedule in another, and the reporting a waiver programme requires has to be assembled by hand at the end of every month from both.

That is enterprise software work. The domain is specific, but the problem — several disconnected systems, one entity that spans all of them, and a compliance deadline attached — is the same shape we solve elsewhere.

• Modelling the participant as the entity the whole operation revolves around, with caregivers, agencies, case managers, service plans, medications and transport hanging off it, rather than as a row duplicated across five tools.
• Coordinating the moving parts of a day: which participants are scheduled, who is collecting them, which caregiver is assigned, and what changes when one of those falls through at short notice.
• Building the reporting a waiver programme or an audit actually asks for, out of the operational data itself, instead of reconstructing it monthly from exports.
• Field and caregiver applications that work on a phone, in a vehicle, on a slow connection, for staff who are not sitting at a desk.
